LEGO 'Batman Dark Knight'

A parody of Christopher Nolan’s (2008) film The Dark Knight, a successful reboot of the Batman franchise with much darker look. VFX students did choose the most iconic shots from the film and recreated these in Lego. The project was entirely modeled in Maya, textures created in Photoshop, rendered in Mental Ray, post-production and editing in After Effects. Clip was rendered out on Workstation Specialists WS2610 systems.

An academic team project, spanning across 12 weeks, representing approx 1500 hours of work (approximately 300 hours per person) and one half of their final semester workload.
