It shows how to set the desktop up and install Libreoffice, Thunderbird and Gimp from a terminal. Then set-up use Libreoffice the alternative to Microsoft office. Then the Email client Thunderbird adding an mail account.and a tutorial on Gimp the GNU image manipulation program.
Gimp is the best image editing program you can get that also does Photoshop files you can edit from your Windows from the Kali desktop if you dual boot with Windows.

You must boot from the DVD or a USB. You Boot with a DVD by inserting the DVD switching off and switching on again. If you have Windows on ensure it is not hibernating by switching off whilst holding down the shift key.
