with an unknown chemical liquid. The actor, who is gay, also claims the men forced a rope around his neck and yelled racial and
homophobic slurs at him. Smollet added that he suffered some bruises, but no broken bones. The attack is currently being investigated by Chicago police, who haven't made any arrests.
