0Jeremy Lin stopped by security trying to get on Raptors team bus
Toronto Raptors guard Jeremy Lin has not played much in the playoffs. Even then, heās a familiar face. Remember Linsanity from years back? Dude couldnāt go anywhere without being mobbed by fans.
That has obviously changed in the years since. How much? Well, he was just recently stopped by security on his way on to the Raptorsā team bus in Milwaukee.
āAfter Game 2 in Milwaukee, I was trying to get to the team bus and one of the dudes in the Milwaukee arena just screams at me,ā Lin said on Bill Michaels Sports Talk Network. āHeās like, āWhere do you think youāre going?!āAnd Iām like, āUh, Iām trying to get to the team bus.ā Heās like, āWhat?! Whereās your pass?ā I was like, āI donāt have a pass. I donāt know what youāre talking about. I donāt have a pass.āā
It goes without saying that security should be paramount on team buses. Even then, itās hard to imagine another member of the Raptors ā known or not ā getting stopped by security.
Linās rise to fame had a lot to do with his Asian-American background. Itās rather obvious that him being stopped by authorities in Wisconsin can also be linked to that.
Lin, 30, has played a total of 26 minutes thus far in the playoffs. Heās out of the Raptorsā rotation as they look to earn a trip to the NBA Finals in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals Saturday night.
Weāre fully expecting Linās trek to the arena in Toronto to be free of incident. After all, heās already adored there.
