Diffie-Hellman uses modular arithmetic which introduces additional complexity, such as mathematical groups. I deliberately chose to not introduce this concept because I want the ideas of the video to be more accessible. I believe it is more important to understand generally how these common processes work.
Today, we have even more layers of security. Rather than merely Diffie-Hellman, Google Chrome works on ECDH-RSA, which stands for Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman with RSA protocol. Let me know if you want to see a video on Elliptic Curve Cryptography or a more detailed version of Diffie-Hellman!
