Iowa-based Hy-Vee facing class action lawsuit over data breach | AM 600 WMT
A class action lawsuit has been filed against Hy-Vee, after a customer data breach.
An attorney with the Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith law firm near Philadelphia tells WHO-Radio News the suit has been filed in U.S. Court in Peoria, Illinois.
Hy-Vee says malware hit "point-of-sale" devices at Hy-Vee gas stations, restaurants, and drive-thru coffee shops. Payment systems inside stores and pharmacies were not impacted.
