Hackers Breached Voter Databases in Two Florida Counties Ahead of 2016 Election
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Russian hackers compromised voter databases in two of the state’s counties during the 2016 election, indicating a wider breach of Florida voting systems than previously known.
“Two Florida counties experienced intrusion into the supervisor of election networks,” Mr. DeSantis, a Republican, said Tuesday at a press conference in Tallahassee. “There was no manipulation…it did not affect voting or anything like that.”
