Gov. Edwards and LSU President Tate highlighting cybersecurity and military studies initiatives
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – On Wednesday morning, local and state leaders are expected to attend an announcement on LSU’s campus.
Gov. Edwards and LSU President William F. Tate IV are some of those leaders who are expected to attend a Wednesday morning news conference.
According to LSU, the announcement is centered around “advancing the defense priority of the Scholarship First Agenda for LSU.”
The focus is on “initiatives and enhancements to LSU’s cybersecurity, military studies and ROTC programs,” according to LSU.
The announcement will be made at a news conference which is taking place at the Louisiana Emerging Technology Center located at 340 E. Parker Blvd.
The news conference is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
