0Gloves coming off as federal election campaign nears end
iSpeech
The gloves are coming off as the federal election campaign nears its end. Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau campaigned in Montreal today, where he accused Andrew Scheer and the Conservatives of running a "nasty" campaign. Meanwhile, at a raucous event in Essex, Ont., Scheer went back to his campaign-opening message that Trudeau lacks ethics and is unfit to govern. NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh was in Quebec, where he invoked former party leader Jack Layton, whose 2011 "orange wave" movement resonated in the province. And Green Leader Elizabeth May predicts a minority government, which she says will be good for her party's climate agenda.
