Foley & Lardner LLP represented Context Labs, an enterprise data fabric climate technology company, in its partnership with Williams (NYSE: WMB), a Fortune 500 American energy company focused on providing infrastructure to safely deliver natural gas products to reliably fuel the clean energy economy.
The partnership will allow Williams to utilize Context Labs’ Decarbonization as a Service™ (DaaS™) clean energy technology solution to support the gathering, marketing, and transporting of responsibly sourced gas from well-head to end-user. The DaaS™ technology provides verified emissions profiles and captures the progress of greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation across the natural gas value chain, enhancing clean energy supply and delivery for Williams and its customers and providing end-to-end measured, verifiable, and transparent emissions data for real-time decision-making capabilities. The deployment of this enterprise data fabric solution will be targeted at Williams’ facilities and its upstream and downstream ecosystem partners to accelerate its energy transition and affirm its commitment to transparency and governance around climate change.
