Doctors Hospital showcases new technology for spinal surgery
Dr. Justin Bundy is a surgeon at Doctors Hospital but perhaps more impressively, he's the first doctor in Georgia and one of the first in the country to try out the XVISION System Augmedics. He says the new technology makes spinal surgeries safer and less invasive. "It allows us to use less invasive, less incisions, and less invasive muscle dissection to put in screws safety. So being able to do that enhances the patients outcomes as far as recovery goes, as far as safety goes, as far as reproducibly knowing exactly where we are at during the operation."
