Crate & Barrel names former Nike exec as new chief technology officer

CHICAGO — Crate & Barrel Holdings Inc. has hired Jason Booth as the chief technology officer, effective Nov. 8.

Booth brings more than 25 years of experience, most recently as vice president of technology for Nike. In his new role, he will focus on acquiring, developing and implementing technology that drives a superior customer experience in a digital first market place.

“Hiring a leader in retail technology is key to delivering a modern, customer-focused experience,” said Janet Hayes, CEO of Crate & Barrel. “We are excited to welcome Jason to the team; he shares our modern mindset of a customer-focused culture and provides solutions that connect people to our brands in order to create a home with purpose.”

Crate and Barrel Holdings’ portfolio of brands includes Crate & Barrel, CB2, Crate & Kids and Hudson Grace.
