Cracked Heels – Uncover Simple Recipes to Make Your Feet Look and Feel Good

Cracked heels are a problem, a common problem, in fact. Due to the lack of moisturizing your feet skin gets dry resulting in cracked heels. It is unpleasant, unattractive and sometimes painful. Therefore, I am going to disclose simple recipes to cure cracked heels.

  1. Add boric acid to water (proportion - a glass of water with a teaspoon of boric acid). Soak your feet in warm water for 15 minutes. Dry them up with a towel. Apply vaseline to the affected areas and put a plaster to stick the vaseline to your feet. Afterwards wear socks, preferably cotton or other natural material, throughout whole night. You can repeat the procedure until the heels are healed and cracks have disappeared. If the cracking of your heels does not reduce after a week of repeated procedures, you definitely need to see a doctor.
  2. Cut lengthwise an aloe leaf and bind it to your heels. Afterwards, put polythene on it and wear socks. You can make a compress of aloe pulp or juice. Aloe juice is a great moisturizer and remedy of dry skin by making it soft and gentle.
  3. Saturate a gaze or cotton cloth with warm glycerin, castor or camphor oil. After soaking your feet in warm water, put the saturated material to cracked heels, wrap polythene round and wear socks.
  4. Squeeze red currants and apply the paste to the bad areas of your feet. It is going to soften the hard skin on the soles of your feet.
  5. Another great remedy for cracked heels relate to tea mushroom. Make a tincture of tea fungus without sugar and smear it to the affected skin areas.
  6. Grind sea-buckthorns and massage the paste on cracked heels.
  7. Add a tablespoon of baking soda to a liter of warm water and soak your feet in it. Perform the procedure every evening to moisture and soften your skin. In addition, the bath not only cleanses your skin, but also improves circulation of blood.
  8. Add 3 tablespoons of chamomile tincture to a liter of warm water. Soak your feet in it daily. It is going to prevent drying and cracking of your heels.
  9. The last method might sound a little bit unbelievable, but, believe it or not, it really works. Soak your cracked heels in urine. You are going to experience a sensation of burning, but it is worth trying.

People tend to forget about their feet. But your feet are the ones carrying you throughout life; therefore they have deserved your attention and proper care.
