It's been a long time coming, but the Final Fantasy VII Remake is set to release on March 3, 2020 as a PS4 exclusive. If you're ready to lock down a copy for yourself right now, you can. We have all the information you need below.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Deluxe Edition
The deluxe edition comes with the game itself, as well as the following items:
- Artbook
- Mini-Soundtrack
- Steelbook
- Cactuar Summon Materia DLC
- Carbuncle Summon Materia DLC
This from-the-ground-up remake brings the beloved 1997 RPG into the modern era, with all-new graphics and a new battle system combining turn-based strategy and real-time combat. But if you prefer, you can map special abilities to buttons and play it all in real time.
The first chapter of Final Fantasy VII Remake only encompasses the Midgar portion of the original PS One game. The developers say this part has become an entire game in its own right, and so they're going to ship it. Presumably at least one more installment will come out in the future to finish out the story of the game.
