However, this limited their security visibility. Batteries Plus decided to overhaul their setup and start a contract with Leeward Business Advisors, a firm that leverages Fortinet’s services to provide cybersecurity solutions. Leeward manages several network and security operations for Batteries Plus, making use of Fortinet’s next-generation firewalls, Fortinet’s secure software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN), and their security management and analysis solutions. With this setup, Batteries Plus is able to manage their cybersecurity needs efficiently and in a position to scale up their security services as needed.
Energy: Drax Group
Drax Group is a renewable energy organization with electricity generation operations in the U.K. They also own and have interests in pellet mills in the U.S. and Canada. They employ over 3,400 people and support about 200,000 customers. As a large operation providing a critical service, they needed a privacy solution that was able to support large numbers of requests and assessments as well as technology that could support collaboration across their various teams. They were able to implement OneTrust’s technology to help build out their asset register and improve data-sharing guidelines. Overall, with Onetrust’s privacy management modules, there is greater visibility into the effectiveness of data privacy, and there is a clear view of how privacy impacts the business.
Electronics: TDK
TDK is a global electronics company. It has customers mainly in the automotive and electronics industries. TDK needed a solution to help it detect and prevent attacks, reduce the complexity in its security stack, and decrease the rate of false positives for cyber attacks. It needed a solution that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to detect threats, since AI doesn’t have to wait on security updates to improve. With CrowdStrike, TDK was able to protect its 13,700 endpoints and cut down on false positives as well as save their IT administration team time due to efficient solutions. TDK estimates that they’re able to spend about 25% less time on security administration.
