In 2014 facebook paid $1.3 million to 321 researchers across the world.
Average reward - $1,788.
Facebook received reported bugs from across 123 countries.
Bounties at scale – Top 5 countries
The top five earners last year collectively netted $256,750.
1. India contributed the largest number of valid bugs.
No. of bugs posted by India - 196
Average reward - $1,343.
2. Egypt were second by volume,
Bugs Reported - 81 bugs
Average rewards - $1,220
3. USA comes third in contributing of valid bugs.
Bugs Reported – 61
Average rewards - $2,470
4. In fourth, the UK also earned the highest amount per report in 2014

5. The Philippines was fifth
Valid Reported Bugs – 27
