The district court wrongly granted the steel company summary judgment because it remains disputed whether Carpenter or Charles Cooke was responsible for the breakdown in the interactive accommodation process, the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit said. The lower court also erred by not considering Cooke’s affidavit challenging the company’s account of his leave request, the court said, and revived his leave interference claim.
