Brian NeSmith, Cybersecurity Visionary and Veteran, Joins Revelstoke Board of Directors

Brian NeSmith, an internationally recognized cybersecurity visionary and business leader, today joined the Revelstoke Board of Directors. Revelstoke, which launched in January, offers Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and security analysts a next-generation Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) solution built on a Unified Data Layer. Revelstoke automates analysis, eliminates software development needs, optimizes workflows, prevents vendor lock, scales processes, and quickly and effectively gets to the root of incidents.

NeSmith, co-founder and executive chairman of Arctic Wolf, offers more than 30 years of cybersecurity leadership, including extensive experience driving revenue growth and scaling organizations globally. His unique track record in leading both startup and public companies has enabled him to pioneer innovative solutions in the security market and lead companies throughout all growth phases—establishing new market categories and raising the bar for enterprise solutions.

Before founding Arctic Wolf, he served as CEO of Blue Coat Systems, where he increased company revenues from $5M per year to over $500M per year as the industry’s leading web proxy platform. Before Blue Coat, Brian was the CEO of Ipsilon Networks (acquired by Nokia), which became the leading appliance platform for Check Point firewalls.
