Bose Noise Cancelling Earbuds 700 Announced • Gear Patrol

iSpeech.org

Yesterday Bose announced the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700, which are poised to steal flagship mantel away from the QuietComfort 35 II and become Bose’s new best-in-class noise-canceling headphones. What slipped by somewhat under the radar, however, was that Bose also announced two true wireless earbuds: the Bose Earbuds 500 and the Bose Noise Cancelling Earbuds 700.

The Bose Earbuds 500 are just a “smaller and sleeker version” of the company’s current true wireless earbuds, the SoundSport Free earbuds ($200), and they’ll have some new features, like quick access to your choice of Alexa or Google Assistant.

The Bose Noise Cancelling Earbuds 700, meanwhile, are much more exciting. There aren’t any good true wireless earbuds that also have great active noise cancellation. The Sony WF-SP700N, for example, is a fine pair of true wireless earbuds, but their noise cancellation isn’t effective at all. If Bose can follow through on its promise to “deliver noise canceling that’s comparable to our most powerful banded headphones” with its new Bose Noise Cancelling Earbuds 700, that’s super exciting.

The Bose Earbuds 500 are expected to be released later this year, while the Bose Noise Cancelling Earbuds 700 aren’t expected until sometime in 2020, which no pricing announced either.

Gear Patrol also recommends:
Apple AirPods ($159+)
Jabra Elite Active 65t ($190)
SoundSport Free earbuds ($200)
