Bilzin Sumberg Defending Cybersecurity Firm in $1M Suit Over UM Data Breach
Mitchell E. Widom of Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod has entered an appearance for Accellion, a cybersecurity firm focused on secure file transfer, in a pending lawsuit. The suit, related to the cybersecurity firm’s high profile data breach in late 2020 and early 2021, was filed Jan. 24 in Florida Southern District Court by Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani on behalf of AIG Specialty Insurance Company. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Donald L. Graham, is 1:22-cv-20272, AIG Specialty Insurance Company v. Accellion, Inc.
