Better Business Bureau offers webinar on cybersecurity
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) will host the webinar series, “Cybersecurity with the FBI and CISA” at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 20.
Cybersecurity is often overlooked by small businesses. BBB organizers said it’s essential to be vigilant and know when something could be wrong, event organizers said.
Experts from the FBI and CISA will discuss current threats and ways to mitigate them.
“Small Businesses Make Big Targets: Why Maintaining Your Company’s Cybersecurity Is So Important,” will show that no company is too small to be potentially hacked or targeted by a cyber-criminal. A false sense of security might make a company or business an easier victim.
The nation is experiencing a heightened emphasis on cybersecurity related to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, but what does that mean for a small business?
