Bella Thorne Responds to Twitter Hacking: ‘I Feel Gross’

text to speech

Following some suspicious tweets appearing on Bella Thorne's Twitter page Thursday evening, the former Disney child star broke her silence Saturday and has taken her "power back."

"Yesterday, as you all know, all my s*** was hacked," Thorne wrote in an Instagram story. "For the last 24 hours, I have been threatened with my own nudes. I feel gross, I feel watched, I feel someone has taken something from me that I only wanted one special person to see."

"He has sent me multiple nude photos of other celebs, he won't stop with me or them, he will just keep going," she added. "For too long I let a man take advantage of me over and over and I'm f***ing sick of it. I'm putting this out because it's MY DECISION NOW YOU DON'T GET TO TAKE ANOTHER THING FROM ME."

Thorne continued: "I can sleep better tonight knowing I took my power back. You can't control my life you never will."

The 21-year-old actress then posted the apparent photos that she had been threatened with, adding that she has more things to celebrate instead of the unfortunate hacking.

"The last 24 hours I have been crying instead of celebrating my book while doing my book press. Oh yeah, the FBI will be at your house shortly," she added directly to the hacker. "So watch your mother f***ing back."

Thorne's upcoming book, The Life of a Wannabe Mogul: A Mental Disarray, details the struggles of being raised in the spotlight, while also being extremely candid about being molested during her childhood years.

"It's pretty hard in my mind to think about these big, flashlight photographs and everybody thinking they know me and talking about me, having no idea the type of mistreatment that I was still dealing with at that time," Thorne said in an interview with BUILD Series last week.

The Life of a Wannabe Mogul: A Mental Disarray will be released July 23 at Target, Barnes&Noble, Amazon and more.
