A13 chip is handicapped by poor co-hardware & iOS itself.
1) ... moreA13 shreds on benchmarks. To the people, benchmark is the key reason why they're buying this. It's not functionality, it's raw power from Synthetic Benchmarks which they think will translate so well in Real Time Benchmarks such as speed tests and frames per second on games against Android phones.
Back then, Apple's A series is only good in Single Core but Snapdragon excels in Multi Core. Starting at A11, the Apple processor finally beats Snapdragon in both Single and Multi Core. Since then, Qualcomm has been unable to surpass the newest Apple processors in Single Core and/or Multi Core. Apple's always one step above when it comes to numbers.

1) Can't do 960fps slow motion even if chip capable of it since Apple refuses to give prisoners DRAM on their camera.
2) Can't do split screen multitasking (handicapped by iOS, even Sd4xx series can do this).
3) Throttles under sustained loads since Apple didn't put any dedicated cooling inside 1000 dollar trash.
4) Cant put refresh rate above 60hz since Apple said prisoners will get 120hz display on iPhone last. Even 200 dollar budget device sporting 90hz.
I can go on & on...
You get the point.
A13 trashes absolutely nothing in the real world.

Missing compacts Phone , Iphone 4s, Iphone SE old one - Apple should have come up old iphone SE with full display ...
quite good handy phone... every one would love to have it ... everyone is missing compact phone - good for calling as well... for calling you dont need to PC - make or say please keep it easy...

If the 12 at 5.4 inch is size of iPhone 8 with no bezels I will like to own one.
So wish they would have kept the SE same size with no bezels and better camera.

Wait. So the more expensive and lighter aluminium, the material they use in lighter sportscars and racecars (apart from the really pricey ones using carbonfibre) is the material of choice in the cheaper variants of phones? No wonder phones are getting so heavy with all the stainless steel and glass backs.
Have been an Android user all through, but that 5.4 inch size makes me want to move to Apple. Can't see myself using 6.7 inch, 220gm shovels if I have to replace my 3 year old 5 inch android.

I hope the iPhone 12 series cameras will be even better than the iPhone 11pro and ProMax, if I find they're better than Samsung Galaxies, the battery life is Excellent and Apple fixes the security issues I'll probably jump ship and become and iphone user. I've had Samsung Galaxies since the S2 Skyrocket was new with AT&T, I'll see what the Note 20 series delivers in Aug

SE 2020 is garbage choice for ppl wanting compact phones.

639152I just hope the rumors will be true and that at least one of the model will have an underdisplay fingerprint scanner, and if possible a 3D reading ultrasonic one, not the old optical style.
We need phones with both 3D facial recognition and ultrasonic FPS, that's the futur of security, optical FPS, 2D face unlock and only a single of the advanced biometric should have been obsolete by now.
