Google recently announced the Android 11 beta 1 program for supported Pixel smartphones. OnePlus soon followed suit by offering the beta program for its recently launched OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones. Other OEMs such as Xiaomi and Oppo have also promised to bring beta builds for their select smartphones. Now, Vivo has announced the Android 11 beta 1 Developer Preview Program for Vivo Nex 3S 5G and iQoo 3 smartphones to give its users the first glimpse of the upcoming Android operating system.

The Vivo Nex 3S 5G is currently the brand’s flagship smartphone and is only available in China. So, the beta program for the same is meant for the Chinese variant of the smartphone.

Now, Vivo has launched the iQoo 3 smartphone in China as Vivo’s sub-brand, but in India, iQoo operates as an independent brand. It comes in two variants 4G and 5G and the beta program is available for both the smartphones for both Chinese and Indian variants.

Vivo says that they will release two Android 11 beta versions for both the smartphones. Beta 1 will be available around mid-June 2020, while the beta 2 will be released in late July 2020.

To update your iQoo 3 smartphones, download the update package from here and transfer it to the root directory of the smartphone. Then tap on the software package to update your device.

Vivo has also warned the users that the beta program is intended for developers only for testing their apps on Android 11. The company has also highlighted the commonly known issues with the preview build such as under-display fingerprint scanner not working, front camera not working, status bar icon overlapping and more.
