AIS announces leadership staff promotions

Four leadership staff promotions were announced by the Assured Information Security (AIS) company which is based at Griffiss park.

• Dan Kalil, to Chief Commercial Officer —He will lead commercial direction and strategies, focusing on growth of commercial business within AIS and its family of companies, including GreyCastle Security and AssuredTek. A co-founder of AIS, he also serves as Chief Executive Officer at GreyCastle Security, based in Troy.

Kalil has a bachelor’s degree in Economic Crime Investigation and a master’s degree in Cybersecurity from Utica College.

• Pete Huggins, to Vice President of Operations — He will plan, direct and oversee operations activities, regarding development and implementation of efficient operations and cost-effective systems to meet company needs. He will lead cross-functional efforts through program management methodology, to drive improvement across all areas. Huggins, with AIS for 10 years, has associate degrees in Educational and Instructional Systems Design and Communications Applications Technology from Community College of the Air Force.

• Salvatore Paladino, to Director of Accounts Management (AM) — He will manage corporate AM resources and work closely with the AIS leadership team to establish priorities. He will lead the AM Team in developing and executing account growth strategies, plus will prioritize establishment and maintenance of relationships of trust, loyalty and mutual success with each key strategic account.

Paladino, with AIS for eight years, has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Security from Utica College and a master’s in Business Administration from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Marcy.

• Erin Bushinger, to Director of Corporate Communications — She will lead accurate, consistent and positive representation of AIS across internal and external communication mediums. She will develop, implement and lead strategies to convert corporate objectives into measurable results. Bushinger, with AIS for four years, has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in Information Design and Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Marcy.

A cyber and information security firm, AIS provides government and commercial customers with cyber security capabilities and services such as research, development, consulting, testing, forensics among others.
