Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:

  1. Dunedin Parks & Recreation offers a free seminar on "Revolutionizing Medical Technology" on March 22 at 10:00 AM in the Hale Senior Activity Center. The seminar will be presented by Biotechnology Professional Frank Magnarelli and will cover remote robotic surgery, 3D printing of body parts, and 3D x-rays. Attendees will view film clips demonstrating how these technologies work, how they are used, and their implications for the future. No registration is required. (Dunedin Patch)
  2. All-Star third baseman Matt Chapman was acquired by the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday. A five-year veteran and three-time Gold Glove winner, Chapman hit .201 with 27 home runs and 72 RBIs in 151 games for the Athletics last season. Additionally, he was a first-time All-Star in 2019. Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkin commented on Chapman's skills, saying "He's a big-time threat on both sides of the ball and that's hard to find." Read the full article to learn more about expectations from Chapman this season. (KSTP)
  3. If you can't make Dunedin's event honoring Florida Bike Month today (more info below), there are plenty of other opportunities to join similar events in the area. These include a bike ride in Tampa on March 20 starting at Joe Haskins Bike Shop and Dade City on March 25 starting at the Spoke.
