US Airstrikes In Fallujah Kill Hundreds Of ISIS Fighters

Coalition airstrikes and Iraqi security forces have reportedly destroyed two large ISIS convoys leaving the city of Fallujah, Iraq in recent days. CNN reports the totals announced by a US Coalition spokesman were around 175 vehicles destroyed and killing an estimated 250 ISIS fighters. The first convoy was detected in neighborhoods in southwest Fallujah on Tuesday night and attacked through the night then the second was detected Wednesday.
The strikes come after Fallujah was liberated from ISIS last week by Iraqi military forces in a US backed offensive. The city had been a major foothold for the terror group. Although there still may be fighting in neighborhoods, it has been reported that over 1,800 ISIS militants were killed while recapturing the city.
