LOYAL (WAOW) - 'Wisconsin Farm Technology Days' kicked off in Clark County on Tuesday.
The event runs from Tuesday, July 12 through Thursday, July 14, and runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
This year it is hosted at Roehl Acres and Rustic Occasions in Loyal.
Organizers said that planning for the three day event took about three years. Chuck Rueth, executive chairman, Farm Technology Clark County 2022, said that this is the third time Clark County has held this event.
Rueth said they hold it at a farm, because they feel it can be more hands-on.
"As our, as our motto goes here in Clark County: where tradition and technology meet. And this is what it's all about," said Rueth.
Rueth said they are expecting about 40,000 to 50,000 people to attend across the three days.
He said this year, they're showcasing robotic milking. They will also have farm tours and a heritage tractor and machinery display. So people understand how to be safe, they are holding grain bin and tractor roll over demonstrations.
But this event is not just for those who work in agriculture.
"There's a lot here to see, not necessarily for farming, but something you can use in your household, also," said Rueth.
