Romania’s Safetech in cybersecurity deal with Special Telecommunications Service
BUCHAREST (Romania), November 22 (SeeNews) - Romanian cybersecurity company Safetech Innovations [BSE:SAFE] said on Tuesday that it has signed a 5.22 million lei ($1.08 million /1.06 million euro) contract with the country's Special Telecommunications Service (STS) for providing specific equipment and training services.
The duration of the contract maximum 150 days since the conclusion of the agreement, Safetech said in a statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
Under the deal, Safetech will deliver equipment for the prevention, detection and management of cyber vulnerabilities of communication systems and professional training services.
Established in 2011, Safetech Innovations currently employs 42.
Safetech shares traded 0.55% lower at 2.6950 lei as at 1522 on Tuesday on the BVB.
STS is a Romanian state agency with a military status which coordinates activities in the field of special secure communications.
