The district said in a press release that there has been no evidence that any personal information has been affected by the problems.
“We immediately took steps to secure our environment and engaged leading cybersecurity experts to conduct an independent investigation to determine what happened and whether sensitive information may have been affected as a result,” the release said. “That investigation is ongoing.”
The district did not indicate when issues in its system were first detected.
