Primary school students discuss the nature of physical abilities and imagination in an animated segment for the multi-award winning Lift Off television series (ABC Television and the Australian Children's Television Foundation).
I was supplied with the voice track and timing charts and created all the animation in a home studio setup. I used a black and white security camera for scanning, drawings were made using black crayon on plain A4 paper and a—now ‘extinct’—Commodore Amiga computer used for colouring and compositing at a tiny image resolution of 640x480 pixels. Images were recorded frame-by-frame to Betacam-SP.
